Imguraffe!
I just realized I never posted this and probably should have. Having asserted myself as a dapper animal specialist, I did this sketch in honor of imgur’s April Fool’s joke —(http://imgur.com/blog/2012/03/31/introducing-the-imguraffe) —that sorta backfired as a joke given how popular the idea of an imguraffe became. So here was the sketch that I created. I would loooooooove to see this become their actual mascot so….. *finger’s crossed*

WireShade Lighting
Marc Trotereau, a London-based designer has created the beautiful WireShade lighting.
“The wireshade project is an interpretation of the making and the use of the lampshade. The traditional making of a lampshade is a flexible and relatively easy process based on brazing metal rods. Marc Trotereau decided to adapt this way of making by creating a jig, which gives the possibility to braze three metal rods together at the same time. This set up enable the production of three-dimensional cubical shapes. The structure is painted or powder coated and then covered with corrugated plastic also known as ‘Correx’. This material is flame retardant and antistatic. The morphology of the correx gives the possibility to clip it to the metal structure. Marc Trotereau developed a flexible process to create shells that can be use as lampshades for every type of wall, ceiling, and corners… The lampshade becomes a sculptural and unique object, which can adapt its shape to any type of space.”

I love that my friends, P@ and Karly’s, dog is becoming internet famous. Oh Toby. Don’t forget us little people.
You Wouldn’t Like This Dog When He’s Angry
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
By most accounts, Toby the Cavapoo is a normal, mild-mannered young dog. That is, until you get him angry.
“Yeah, it’s like, some weird genetic mutation.” says Dylan Sparks, Toby’s owner. “Anyway, you can’t even get him mildly upset. I basically just give him whatever he wants.”
Sparks cites a recent episode where Toby, learning there was no more bacon in the house, savagely tossed him out of a window. “Needless to say, I make sure we always have plenty of bacon now,” says Sparks, rubbing his back and wincing noticeably. “Or, to be more accurate, he makes sure.”

It’s important to know your crayon colors, Brian. Cerulean will possibly always be my favorite.

This is what my sense of direction loks like.
I don’t know where this came from, but I love it. FFFFFFFFFOUND it somewhere.
This is just….awesome. Sometimes I read the news and I’m like, “Humanity, you suck!!” And then something like this comes up and I’m like, “I should have never doubted you, humanity. You’re the best of the best.”
